Ella 7 months

Wow! It has been a long time since I posted on here.  I blame going back to work.  I am going to try to get back to putting up monthly updates on Ella.  She has really learned a lot during the last month.  She is sitting up and rolling all over the place to get the toy she wants.   She now has 2 teeth and is talking a lot.  It often sounds like she is saying da da.  She looks so big on her bear now!

Here is my first attempt at a monthly video montage.  I have wanted to do one of these since Ella was born, better late than never:)

Ella 2 months

Ella had her 2 month doctor's appointment where she weighed in at 11 pounds and measured 22 1/2 inches long.  This is around the 60th percentile.  She also had 4 shots.  Ella looked startled for about a second and then let out a loud "waaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!"  

Ella is starting to have longer periods of awake time.  She is happy laying on a blanket or sitting in her bouncy seat for 10-15 minutes.   She is starting to smile all the time, although I still have a tough time capturing it on camera.  Ella keeps on "talking" more and more, making new sounds all the time.

Ella 7 weeks

I took this video last week during Ella's favorite time of the day- anytime she gets her diaper changed.  She has started to move her arms and legs a lot more, and makes more noises too.

Ella's Baptism

Ella was baptized this past Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Desert Cross Lutheran Church in Tempe, Arizona. 

Ella wore the same dress that I wore when I was baptized.
